Stained Glass Works
At IOO Studio, stained glass is approached as an art form rooted in light, space, and presence—not decoration.
Each commission is conceived by artist Fenway Fan and developed through a quiet, intentional process that honors both material and environment. Working with colored glass as a medium of light, the studio creates site-responsive works that become part of the architecture they inhabit.
Process
Each project begins with context—space, light conditions, and the architectural rhythm already present.
From there, a new design is developed to honor the environment while allowing something contemporary to emerge.
A design approval stage is included. Once fabrication begins, the work is treated as final.
Who This Is For
This is for private residences, public spaces, and institutions seeking a meaningful integration of art, light, and atmosphere.
It’s especially suited for clients who value authorship, craft, and long-term presence over fast decoration.
Who This Is Not For
This service is not intended for traditional restoration or historical replication.
We do not repair or reproduce existing stained glass works, nor recreate legacy designs as they once were.
Our focus is on new creation—rather than conservation or duplication.
It is also not a client-directed design service built around open-ended iterations.
We welcome thoughtful input during the design phase; once the design is confirmed and fabrication begins, revisions are no longer possible.
